Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies acomm.ai (the “Site”) uses, and how you control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. Some are needed for a site to work. Others, like analytics cookies, are optional.
2. Our approach
We keep this to a minimum. When you first visit, the Site sets no cookies. A banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies:
- Accept loads Google Analytics, which sets the cookies listed below.
- Decline keeps Google Analytics switched off. No analytics cookies are set.
We don’t use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social media widgets.
3. What we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
acomm-consent | acomm.ai (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we don’t ask on every visit | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors so we can count usage | Analytics, only if you accept | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your session | Analytics, only if you accept | 2 years |
Strictly necessary storage doesn’t need your consent, but we list it so you know it’s there.
4. Fonts
The Site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address to deliver the font, but Google Fonts doesn’t set cookies.
5. Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page to bring the banner back. If you decline after accepting, we stop Google Analytics and remove its cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Help is available for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
6. More about our data use
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including analytics data.
7. Changes
If we change the cookies we use, we’ll update this policy and the date at the top, and ask for your consent again where needed.
